Drugs may be harmful for health in many cases but not for the eyes, especially if they are enlarged photographs. The world fails to realize how much art goes into the development of each drug but people are not to be blamed. Sarah Schonfeld is a German artist who took it upon herself to portray the ‘soft’ image of drugs to the world.
Sarah covered liquid variants of legal and illegal drugs with exposed negative film. The chemical reaction that followed with each drug depended upon its variable interaction with the film. The process was repeated multiple times before she would enlarge the negatives upon completion of the chemical reaction. Sarah’s collection has been so popular that it was published in “All You Can Feel”, a leather-bound book. It is a great book to have as part of your collection and you could even visit the official website to view more of her work.
