Concepts of Apple iPhone 6 have been spreading on the internet for the past few weeks like some sort of virus. Unsurprisingly, each release of the iPhone has followed that trend considering the amount of interest invested by potential users. However, anticipation of any Apple device merely in shape of concept art isn’t sufficient, and doesn’t necessarily amount to reality. Remember how the alleged iPhone 5 turned out to be the iPhone 4S? This explains why some sort of physical evidence proves more convincing. It seems like we finally have a chance to take a peek at what might actually be the iPhone 6.
The latest screenshots released on the internet cover what seems like an iPhone 6 prototype. True to the story concocted by rumours, the supposed iPhone 6 resembles the same design as the iPad Air. It won’t be surprising if this does translate into reality considering iPad Air itself took various design cues from the iPad mini.
Although it is still early to do so, if one were to pass judgment in light of the leaked shots it appears that Apple may be looking to keep design outlook uniform across all its devices. Moreover, the iPhone 6 prototype clearly gives the impression that it may sport Touch ID sensor. Rumours also suggest that the display size could be as large as 5.7 inches, so Apple may give the next generation iPhone an iPad makeover of sorts.
Rumour also has it that the supposed sapphire glass display of the iPhone 6 would be slimmer, lighter and more durable than before. The curve-edge design depicted in the leaked images closely resembles that on the iPad Air. Speaking of resemblances, the shell in the shots matches that of the iPod Touch. Infact, the resemblance is so striking that it actually does look like the good old Apple device.
Let’s not jump to conclusions just yet; these are only leaks afterall. The final product that we see some time from now may depict quite a few changes either way. Let’s continue playing the waiting game until then.
