Windows 8 has been the long mythical beast of an OS update from Microsoft and with it comes a new age to Windows tablets that may actually be a lot more usable than the previous iteration. Microsoft debuted their own tablet just weeks ago called the Surface and they have finally revealed the pricing for this mysterious post-PC device.
Microsoft is starting pricing off with a 32GB model for $499 without the Touch Cover — that is Microsoft’s keyboard cover at only 3mm thick and comes with a touch pad as well, and adding that will also add another $100 to your bill.
Finally, if you choose to go with the 64GB model with the Touch Cover you will be paying a total of $699. Microsoft Surface RT is now available for pre-orders in United States, Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong and United Kingdom — shipping starts October 26th.
