Now that the iPhone 5 rumor hype is all said and done, it’s time to move on to the next supposed Apple reveal: the iPad Mini. The original claims across the rumor sites was that it would be introduced at the same event as the next-gen iPhone; however, new “evidence” has appeared to suggest that the invitations for this new product launch will be sent out on October 10th.
The author of this new rumor has been fairly reliable in the past and is well-connected with the latest Apple analysts, and with an October 10th invite, the revealing could be a week later on the 17th. If all goes according to gossip, then the world could be lining up at their local Apple store once again to grab an iPad Mini by early-November. Thus far, the only description or detail we have about the device is its 7.85-inch screen and it could compete with the price-point of other popular 7-inch tablets like the Nexus 7 and Kindle Fire HD. Then, with the introduction of all new technology in the iPhone 5, we could be seeing an A6 chip and HD front-facing camera (among other things) in the tinier tablet.
