It’s thinner, it’s taller, it’s packing LTE…it’s the new iPhone 5, or so the rumors should have us believe, and continuing this speculation is Sharp, the display manufacturer that is supposedly providing screens for the next-generation Apple smartphone, saying it’s shipping out their contribution this month.
The president of Sharp has confirmed sending out their displays to Apple in August but provides no further information on whether they truly are 4 inches diagonally as rumors suggest or something entirely different to surprise the world. One thing that information almost confirms, the report that Apple’s next big unveiling will be September 12th with the release of the iPhone 5 shortly thereafter.
These manufacturing partners seem to be leaking a lot more info than they legally should be but it provides fun gossip on the consumer end and we can’t wait to see what September brings! You can find more about iPhone 5 here.
