Good news for jailbreak fans! The much awaited iOS 5.1.1 untethered jailbreak for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch has been released. You can jailbreak you iDevice using the latest version of Absinthe, the Absinthe 2.0.
The full list of supported devices running iOS 5.1.1 are:
- iPhone 4S
- iPhone 4
- iPhone 3GS
- iPad (3rd gen)
- iPad 2
- iPad 1
- iPod touch 3G
- iPod touch 4G
- Apple TV 2G
To jailbreak your device:
Step 1: Download Absinthe 2.0.
Step 2: Extract the zip file.
Step 3: Connect your device with computer.
Step 4: Launch Absinthe, click the “Jailbreak” button and wait for your device to restart.
Note: Please backup your iDevice using iCloud or iTunes before jailbreaking it – So if anything goes wrong you can restore it later.
