In accordance to a Japanese Apple blog titled “Macotakara”, the air has been cleared in regard to the “special event” that enthusiasts have been speculating regarding the unveiling of the much anticipated iPad 3. Sourced from an Asian supplier the blog has also remarked that, official unveiling of the iPad 3 is a real event which will be taking place sometime during March 2012 i.e. the next month.
Even before the launch of iPad 3 one more event would be held by Apple but it won’t highlight t any product launching venture. The Japanese blog further reported that, Apple might hold a “strange” event in this month but put any light on any product or even any special service which is a rare thing for the tech giants.
Details of this event is pretty much unknown but Apple can held an event where new products/services don’t get launched which was the case in the recent event held in the city of New York City with iBooks 2 for the students.
Rumors suggest that the next iPad would be called iPad 3 with a handful of specification enhancements over the current model i.e. iPad 2. Higher resolution display has been the one buzzing the tech world the most alongside 4G LTE network and Quad-core chip support.
The aforesaid speculated specifications gets jurisdiction to some extent from the images received from BGR show. The images points to a Quad-core processor with the model numbers J1 & J2 meaning “iPad3,1″& “iPad3,2.” respectively. This signifies that, two different versions of the iPad might hit the market simultaneously. One with just the Wi-Fi and the other with GSM/CDMA/4G LTE.
Only time will say which of these speculations come true.
