With the release date of iPad 3 coming closer, rumors are spreading pretty fast. Snapshots of iPad 3 parts are being seen on web. Today a Japanese blog Macotakara has published images of a high resolution panel display from the manufacturer Sharp Electronics.
Sourced from the blog, the iPad 3 parts were from the reseller Eye Lab Factory. It appears that the iPad 3 panel is of 9.7-inch & the flat cable that connects device to the motherboard is quite similar to that of the iPad 2.
iPad 3 display hails from the XQGA family with a resolution of 2048×1536. Macotakara stated that, iPad 3 assembling started in a manner so that an early launch of the device can happen. The assembling is supposedly done by the Foxconn and Pegatron technology.
The image above is of an internal earphone audio jack along with a Bluetooth antenna flex cable. Both these accessories are on offer on the reseller’s official website. They claim to be the replacement parts for iPad 3 Wi-Fi. The audio jack components are quite different looking from the one’s dedicated for iPad 2.
Only time will say, whether or not these accessories are truly meant for iPad 3 or not.
