According to a new report published today, Apple will be rolling out next iOS update in the coming weeks adding features like Japanese language support for Apple’s personal assistant Siri and a new lock screen for an easier access to device’s camera.
Considering huge Japanese market for Apple products, native language support for Siri is surely a step ahead by the company. Moving on to camera feature, currently users can launch camera-mode directly from lock screen by double tapping the home screen and then tap the camera icon. However, with iOS 5.1’s new lock screen users will be able to launch camera mode by just dragging the lock screen upwards. Since camera-worthy moments take less than a second to disappear, reducing the launch time would be a great improvement.
Meanwhile, iOS 5.1 is expected to be out around March 9. Stay tuned to GizmoCrazed for more rumours and reports.
