Apple is that one company that has fans going crazy for its products. You wouldn’t hear of people dreaming about how Samsung’s next handset would look like or what changes Motorola would make in its cell design but designers, artists, system researchers, innovative firms and all sorts of people around the world keep coming up with aspirational designs for future Apple products even though there may be no clue if the company will ever make a product of that sort.
Italian designer Federico Ciccarese have come up with a sensational tear drop look for iPhone 5 although there is no news of it’s launch in near future, but if the company does decide to go ahead then it can lend alot from this design.
The mock-up features a tapered shape at the bottom and top, with a bulky body in the middle. The rear camera is moved to the centre while the Apple logo beneath it glows an eternal white. The sleep button is moved from the top to the right side as well as the 3.5mm audio jack in order to retain the true tear drop shape.
Moreover, the prototype features a white face plate, a metallic backplate and three buttons on the sides, two for volume and one for silent mode. The back seems to be crafted of blasted aluminium similar to that of the MacBook pro, MacBook Air.
Ciccarese Design comes up with such prototypes from time to time with the lead designer letting his imagination run wild as seen from his earlier concepts of iTV, an 8-inch iMiniPad, a sleek and thin iPhone Air.
