Samsung Galaxy Nexus, the first smartphone to run Android 4.0 “Ice Cream Sandwich” is now available for pre-order in United States through Expansys.
The phone has been priced at $749 for the 16GB version that will support AT&T and T-Mobile’s network. Subsidized versions will also be available on a 2-year contract with Verizon later this year.
Galaxy Nexus is the first smartphone to run the latest version of Android OS, Ice Cream Sandwich. Other features include a huge 4.65-inch, 720p Super AMOLED display screen, a 5 megapixel LED flash rear camera capable of video recording at 1080p and capaturing panorama images, a 1.3 megapixel front facing camera, LTE and HSPA+ connectivity and 3.5mm headphone jack and Bluetooth 3.0. It is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, has 1GB of RAM and 16GB/32GB of internal storage.
