In the announcement, Apple said that it has learned that some customers running their phones on the latest operating system are facing less than expected battery life.
A small number of customers have reported lower than expected battery life on iOS 5 devices.
Many iPhone users have publicly complained about the battery problem and given the popularity of the Apple iPhone brand, these complains have been heavily tossed around on the web in the past few days.
Describing the main cause of the problem Apple’s correspondent said,
We have found a few bugs that are affecting battery life and we will release a software update to address those in a few weeks.
Apple has not come up with a solution just yet, but there are some folks out there on support forums that know how to minimize this issue. The common remedies as preferred by different users include disabling or limiting some built-in apps such as the notifications bar and the automatic time zone adjuster.
It will only be wise to see what happens when people start acknowledging this problem as a potential one; well Apple will have to fix it soon or else.
