The iPhone 4S has finally made itself in the hands of Sprint for the very first time. There were rumours that Sprint might get the new iPhone and to make itself better from any other carrier by introducing it with unlimited data plan. Now, this rumour has turned into reality.
Sprint has been growing over the past few years and currently is the third largest mobile network in the U.S. with AT&T and Verizon are its main competitors. All three of them got the iPhone 4S but Sprint will have a great edge over its competitors because of the unlimited data plan as neither AT&T nor Verizon offer any package(s) like this.
Michelle Leff Mermelstein, a representative from Sprint said:
We will be offering the benefit of our unlimited plans that start at just $69.99 … We have every confidence in the ability of our 3G network to handle the influx of devices we expect to get. It certainly hasn’t been an issue to date.
This means that the unlimited data plan for the iPhone 4S will include about 450 voice minutes and free mobile to mobile calling at just $69.99. The company is also offering package for unlimited calling for just $99.
Pricing and Preorders:
Sprint will start taking pre-orders for the iPhone 4S on October 7. The prices will be same as they are on other carriers: $199 for the 16 GB version, $299 for 32 GB and $399 for 64 GB on a two-year contract.
Well the new unlimited data plan will definitely worth something to buy. We will have to wait and see if Sprint is able to deliver its package as smoothly as the iPhone itself.
