Apple achieved this astounding achievement in just 3 days of the release making it THE MOST successful iPhone launch ever. It is also interesting to note that last year iPhone 4 just managed to get over the two million mark.

Apple® today announced it has sold over four million of its new iPhone® 4S, just three days after its launch on October 14. In addition, more than 25 million customers are already using iOS 5, the world’s most advanced mobile operating system, in the first five days of its release, and more than 20 million customers have signed up for iCloud®, a breakthrough set of free cloud services that automatically and wirelessly store your content in iCloud and push it to all your devices.

Apple has declared the iPhone 4S the most successful one in the line that is already in the skies. Over one million iPhones were pre-ordered in the first 24 hours of the launch and that figure exponentially rose later.

The ordering of the new phone is still in progress but do not expect the phone to land at your place in just a day or two. It might actually take a week or two. There are three different models in two different colours. The actual price of the phone is $649 for the 16GB model, $749 for the 32GB model and $849 for the 64GB model.

However, you can also get the iPhone 4S on contract from AT&T, Sprint as well as Verizon for $199, $299 and $399 for the 16GB, 32GB and the 64GB model respectively.
