Apple Contacting iPhone 4S Users About Battery Issues

If you are unlucky enough to be experiencing battery problems on your brand new iPhone 4S — you are not the only one. This problem is currently being discussed over at Apple support forums in which over a 100,000 visitors have raised this issue.

Apple, aware of this problem have not released an official statement just yet but the company is however constantly in touch with its customers. According to a report by TheNextWeb, Apple engineers are in contact with problem faced customers.

Well we know for sure that Apple’s Engineers have at least contacted one customer faced with the issue who first described his problem on the internet and then,

I then got a call from a senior [Apple] engineer who said he had read my post and was ‘reaching out’ to users for data and admitted this was an issue (and that they aren’t close to finding a fix!) and asked lots of questions about my usage and then asked if he could install the file below and that he would call back the day after to retrieve the info. I extracted the file from my Mac after a sync and emailed it to him. He was incredibly helpful and apologetic in the typical Apple way!

“Apple Engineers are not close to finding a fix for the problem” — Well, that is definitely not Apple’s way.

Meanwhile, according to some well informed websites, the battery problem is probably due to Time Zone settings. This theory is being considered by many users and the experts (geeks, nerds whatever you find appropriate). If you are one of those unlucky customers facing the battery problem, all you can do is to wait for Apple engineers to find the cure.
