Al Gore, the former Vice President of United States and Apple board member, has confirmed that new iPhones will be released sometime in October. Speaking at the Discovery Invest Leadership Summit, Gore said:
The new iPhones would be out next month.
TNW reports that the Al Gore’s statement is definitely plural, but it isn’t clear whether Apple is going to unveil two different models, as Gore didn’t clarify his statement.
Yesterday we reported that Apple will be holding a media event on October 4th, where new CEO Tim Cook will take center stage to launch the iPhone 5, and that will not be the only device that is going to be unveiled.
There were rumours that Apple is set to launch a revised version (cheaper and pretty much similar in design) of the iPhone 4 called the iPhone 4S along with the next generation iPhone featuring an A5 processor, bigger display and battery, and Al Gore’s statement has almost confirmed this.
