How To Enable Facebook Timeline Right Now

Facebook yesterday announced a new profile feature called the Timeline that allows you to check back on everything you have ever done, all the way back to when you were born.

The feature hasn’t been available to the public yet, but there is a way you can get it right now. Here is what you have to do.

Step 1: Log into your Facebook account and follow this link.

Step 2: Next, you will be requested for permission, click “allow”.

A few things to note:

  • The feature is still in development phase, so expect a few bugs.
  • For the time being, only YOU can view your timeline, but it will go public after a few days. In my case, it will go public on Septmber 30th.
  • If you login from different device, timeline is disabled, although you can get it back by following this: link: http://www.facebook.com/YOURUSERNAMEHERE?sk=timeline
  • You will need to have a “verified” account for one of the steps, which means you need a credit card or phone number attached to the account.
