A recent report indicates that Apple has begun trial production of its next generation iPad or simply iPad 3, and it is going to be launched early next year(2012), probably in March.
Wall Street Journal reports, Apple is currently working with Chinese and Taiwanese based manufacturers and components suppliers — having already placed an initial order of 1.5 million A6 processor chips, display panels and other key components for the iPad 3.
iPad 3 features, reportedly, will include 1024×768 display, Retina Display at 2048 x 1536 resolution and a 9.7-inch screen (same as the orignal iPad). However, there is no news yet about iPad 3’s rumoured OLED screen.
It is very likely that Apple will launch iPad 3 in March 2012, 12 months after iPad 2’s release — usually, Apple release its new products at the start or in the middle of the year.
