For all Apple freaks who love to have every gadget that the company ever created, this is a great opportunity — as an early prototype of the iPhone 4 is currently being auctioned off on eBay.
The phone looks pretty much similar to the one currently being sold in the market, except for a mark “DF1692” printed in the lower right corner of its front and back side — a unique code that makes sure Apple can keep track of what prototype belongs to which employee. The prototype also lacks the “+” and “-” markers on phone’s volume buttons.
The phone cannot be activated through iTunes, according to the seller. The current bid stands at $999,999.01 with 7 days remaining. Interested in paying more then $100K for a phone full of scratches? Follow the auction here: (eBay listing).
