Google yesterday released the official Google+ app which is compatible with only iPhone 3G, 3GS, and iPhone 4 running iOS 4.0 or later. That means if you have an iPad/iPod Touch this app won’t work on your device.
Folks at RedmondPie have come up with a tutorial on how to install Google+ app on iPads and iPod Touches.
Here is what you have to do:
Step 1: Firstly, you need to Download the iPhone Configuration Utility and Install it on your Windows machine or Mac.
Step 2: Connect your iPad or iPod touch with your PC or Mac, if you haven’t already.
Step 3: Download the Google+ app for iPhone to your computer from here.(Download Link)
Step 4: Run iPhone Configuration Utility, then Click on your device name which you will see on the left hand side.
Step 5: In device information tabs, click on “Application”. Then Click on Add+ button and browse the Google+ .ipa file which you downloaded in Step 3.
Step 6: Google+ should be appearing in the Applications list of your device. Click the Install button and you are done. The Google+ app will appear on your iPad or iPod touch. 😉
