Akshat Saxena, a young boy from Uttar Pradesh – India, now holds the Guinness World Record for having the most number of fingers and toes.
Akshat has born with a total of 34 fingers — seven(7) fingers on each hand and ten(10) toes on each foot.
His mother, Amrita Saxena told NDTV:
I was so happy to see my baby as it was our first child. But later, when I saw his fingers, I was shocked and surprised.
Doctors after a series of surgeries removed the extra fingers and toes, and now Akshat has five(5) digits per limb just like normal human beings. Doctors are now planning to create thumbs with the help of extra fingers, as this prodigious polydactyl wasn’t born with any.
