The 10-Gigapixel “Wembley Stadium 360” Is The World’s Largest Photo For A Sports Venue

The 10-Gigapixel

Jeffrey Martin has done it again!! After taking an 80-Gigapixel photo of the London City and a 40-Gigapixel photograph of a Strahov Monastery Library, Jeffrey has now shot an impressive 360-degree, 10-gigapixel panorama of the Wembley Stadium in London, which makes it the largest 360-degree sports panorama ever created.

The photo has been taken last week at the FA Cup Final between Manchester City and Stoke City.

The gigantic picture is actually made by combining 1,000 different images and took a couple of days days to stick them all together. Jeffrey used a DSLR camera mounted on a robotic stand which turned and snapped photos continuously until the entire scene was captured inside the stadium.

You can also tag yourself through Facebook if you were at the final or see other people who were there, by following this link. At the time of this writing this post, the photograph is tagged more than 18,067 times.
