Sony Ericsson has announced Android(Gingerbread) powered Xperia Arc smartphone, yesterday at the CES 2011 in Las Vegas. It’s one really, really thin smartphone at 8.7mm but LG Optimus Black is still the world’s thinnest.

Xperia Arc has a 4.2 inch multi-touch Reality Display with a Mobile Bravia Engine, 854 x 480 resolution, 1 GHz Qualcomm processor, Android 2.3 OS, onscreen QWERTY keyboard and a Sony Exmor R 8.1 MP camera on its back.
