Going green is one of the biggest and greatest trends today, especially if you can do it with some style. This is exactly what Diamond Supply Co, a California-based skate company/brand, has in mind for their newest product: sunglasses made from recycled skateboards.
These trendy, Wayfarer-style pieces of eyewear were announced last week at the Agenda trade show in Long Beach, California, and they are definitely going to be a hot commodity for the followers of the latest movement in going green and looking good too. Each pair will be made in a multi-layered and multi-colored wood process that will probably drive up the price of these reused retro glasses; they will also have the Diamond Supply Co branding on the stems to make sure people know where to get them first.
Although pricing has yet to have been released, the combination of branding + complex manufacturing process + several types of colored wood could mean you’re shelling out quite a few clams for these California-designed sunglasses.
