Apple Confirms iPad 3 Media Event For March 7 In San Francisco


It’s official folks! The next generation Apple iPad’s release date is set for March 7th, that is approximately 8 days from now. This comes after Apple started rolling out invites to journalists for a media event scheduled to take place in San Francisco.

The invite reads,

We have something you really have to see. And touch

For months now, iPad 3 rumours are making headlines from leaked pictures to alleged features to purported release dates. The new tablet is expected to feature improved cameras, 4G LTE technology, Retina Display and a much faster processor compared to iPad 2. You can find more about iPad 3 here.

The event is going to be held at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco at 10AM PST or 6PM Central Time, that is Wednesday, March 7th. Team GizmoCrazed will be covering all the news live at it happens, so stay tuned.
