The project was announced earlier this year in June, and now some more details have been revealed by the Cupertino city council which includes:
- An office, research and development building comprising approximately 2.8 million square feet;
- A 1,000 seat corporate auditorium;
- A corporate fitness center;
- A central plant;
- Research facilities comprising approximately 300,000 square feet located on the east side of Tantau Avenue; and
- Associated Parking.
The updated renderings reveal dark-coloured solar panel roofs, a corporate auditorium and an even bigger fitness center spanned over 45,000 sq. ft. The campus will have the capacity to fit 13000 employees and is expected to open in 2015.
