Apple’s much awaited iOS 5 was released just last month containing more than 200 new features. Although the upgrade was feature rich it didn’t really touch everybody’s heart.

The most probable reason for disappointment was the battery issue. Majority of the users complained the battery doesn’t even last for half a day on standby.

Hence, Apple engineers were soon forced to work to fix these issue. The result was a new upgrade i.e. iOS 5.0.1 which they thought would relieve the users off their battery miseries. People happily flocked to upgrade their devices but yet again engineers were not able to completely fix it.

The official statement from Apple confirms this,

The recent iOS software update addressed many of the battery issues that some customers experienced on their iOS 5 devices. We continue to investigate a few remaining issues.

Well, if you have or have not upgraded to iOS 5.0.1 you should wait for another upgrade; if you have not upgraded to iOS 5 maybe you should wait a little longer for the problems to be sorted out.
