According to the Geekbench Benchmarks results for the iPhone 4S, it is about 68% faster than the iPhone 4. Very impressive, i must say!
The iPhone 4S received a Geekbench score of 622 compared to only 370 by the iPhone 4. iPad 2 tops the chart with a total Geekbench score of 749 — about 20% more than Apple’s new smartphone.
The slightly lower performance of the iPhone 4S compared to the iPad 2 points to the fact that it has a 512MB of RAM and an underlocked processor(800MHz).
