In less than five days’ time Apple will be announcing its next generation iPhone at their media event in Cupertino, CA. Nevertheless, some crazy fans have made a physical mockup of the upcoming phone based on circulating rumours.

This iPhone has been made of solid Aluminium and might just be the closest thing to reality, and if it is even an inch close, we are in for a treat with this one.

The phone’s design has been based on rumours which were circulating over the internet from day one. Since rumours have suggested the iPhone 5 will have an elongated home button and the design will be a tear-drop one. The designers and manufacturers of this mockup have also designed their concept in the same way.

The mockup also sits perfectly in iPhone 5 covers and cases that are available in the market.  In view of the design, the iPhone 5 will also be a little taller, wider and have a bigger screen than iPhone 4. The design also suggest that the iPhone 5 will beat Samsung Galaxy S II in thickness.
