The next generation iPhone is believed to be almost upon us, as a leaked Best Buy document hints at October 21st iPhone 5 launch.
Folks at This is my next have received a document which shows a Best Buy location that has been scheduled to have an “Apple Fixture” installed on October 21st. The mid-October launch is believed to be very likely, as previous rumours also indicated the launch to be around the same date.

The source claims that this is NOT a normal installation for which the manager has to turn up at 6AM — they usually show up at 7AM for inventory tasks. Additionally, the similar arrangement was made at the time of iPhone 4 launch, therefore, there’s a healthy chance that this is for the iPhone 5.
We will update this article with more information as soon as we get it — in the mean time, check out our complete iPhone 5 rumour roundup.
Update: A source has confirmed that Best Buy is expecting taking iPhone 5 preorders from the first week of October. However, the product introduction and the launch date are subject to change.
