Inspired by Facebook, Israeli couple Lior and Vardit Adler have named their baby girl “Like”. Sounds weird, isn’t it??
According to Like’s parents, they feel it’s important to give his children uncommon names and Like also has a nice and international ring to it.
To us it is important to give my children names that are not used anywhere else, at least not in Israel. If once people gave Biblical names and that was the icon, then today this is one of the most famous icons in the world.
Currently, Noa, Maya and Tamar are the most common names for girls in Israel.
Unsurprisingly, Like’s siblings also have unique names which are Dvash (honey in Hebrew) and Pie.
Lior also mentioned:
They(his relatives) simply didn’t believe it. I believe there will be people who will lift a eyebrow, but it is my girl and that’s what’s fun about it.
Will Like like her name too? For this, we’ll have to wait for Like to speak as she is only a week old.
