Creeper the first ever computer virus has turned 40 today. Created back in 1971, it was named after a character (Creeper) in Scooby Doo cartoons. The virus had a strange property of replicating itself and then deleting all it’s previous versions on the machine. The most noticeable thing Creeper had, was to display a message “I’m the creeper, catch me if you can!”. icon biggrin Creeper The First Ever Computer Virus, Turns 40
